UK Real Estate Fund buying in Sarasota
A new United Kingdom-based real estate fund, helped by a pair of Saraosta real estate agents, is being organized to buy property in Sarasota.
The Ascent 07 Florida Property Fund is looking to raise $31 million from between 600 ro 1,200 UK investors and would use that money to leverage even more money to buy homes and condos in Sarasota. The fund is being assisted by Greg Sheller and Andrew Batty, assoicates of Re/Max Gulfstream Realty.
They chose Sarasota as the focus of the fund because his research led him to believe Southwest Florida would recover faster than other areas.
