West Orlando housing market stable

In such an unstable housing market with so many homes up for sale, it’s nice to see that in West Orlando, there’s 3 neighborhoods remaining very stable.

Most of Orlando sees an average of 5 percent of all homes for sale.  But in Lake Mann, Sunset Lake, and Clear Lake, only 1.4 percent of homes are on the market.

So what makes these neighborhoods so unique?  Well, according to Robert Gillespie, a real-estate agent who has a listing int he neighborhood, “When they hear something is coming up for sale in there, they usually tell a relative about it.  Most people living in that area have been there a long time. Their kids, when they grow up, want to come back.”
