Sarasota-Bradenton home sales drop 25 percent

September sales in the Sarasota-Brandenton metro area dropped 25 percent from a year ago while the median home price dropped 15 percent from a year ago.The median price is now $244,300 and the number of sales last month was only 500 according to the Florida Association of Realtors. According to the Sarasota Association of Realtors director, Kathy Roberts, “We have obviously been suffering, but not as badly as in other markets.”  Read more about Sarasota-Bradenton home sales at the Herald Tribune.
