Florida Taxation and Budget Reform Commission meet

Kelly Ann Ayers met before the Florida Taxation and Budget Reform Commission and told them Florida is in a state of emergency and the root cause is property taxes.

Ayers, a Sarasota real estate agent, was one of 34 people who appeared before the tax commission.  The commission has been given authority to put changes to Florida’s tax code on the Novebmer 2008 ballot as long as two-thirds of its 25 members approve.
