Additions to tax cut could cut $11 billion

Government Charlie Crist announced a revamped tax cut that would cut $6.3 billion.  House Speaker Marco Rubio is backing the plan with additional tax cuts that would bring the total to $11 billion.

Rubio’s additions including abolishing property taxes for low-income seniors, giving tax breaks to “working waterfronts,” and affordable housing.  Additionally, Rubio would like to make it easier for people to appeal their assessed values.
