Univ. of North Florida to Offer R.E. Courses
Responding to the Sunshine State’s insatiable appetite for all things real estate, the University of North Florida will offer special real estate courses beginning this Monday. The UNF Division of Continuing Education is working with Cooke Real Estate (a firm based in St. Petersburg) to offer the courses.
The UNF courses will include training presales and postsales licensing, broker licensing, residential appraisal, home inspection, postlicensing by CD-ROM, as well as pre- and post-sales. Students will have the opportunity to take the courses by CD-ROM, online or in person, in classes that will be conducted Monday-Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m.
“This new partnership means that we can serve the UNF family and community in this new capacity of an ever-growing profession,” said program manager Nancy Ann Martinez, of the Division of Continuing Education at the Jacksonville-based college.
As parts of the North and Central Florida housing market continue to pick up steam (even as much of the southern part of the state appears headed for a cool down), these educational offerings are sure to keep residents abreast of the latest developments. Be sure to keep your eye on Florida mortgage rates, too, of course.
