Florida Real Estate Forum Will Discuss Issues Affecting 2006 Housing Market
Now that excitement over the impressive 2005 Florida real estate market has subsided, it’s time to focus on the future. Realtors will gather for the 6th Annual Market Watch at the Harborside Event Center tonight to discuss issues affecting Florida home loans and those looking to buy or sell.
Florida home loan concerns
Experts say two variables helped to drive the real estate market over the past several years: low interest rates and lots of available land.
However, interest rates continue to rise and vacant land is becoming more and more scare. So what does this mean for the future? How long will the new construction boom last?
Those are the kinds of questions the forum will address – and not just from a residential standpoint. Commercial real estate experts will be in attendance to discuss topics such as which areas are the strongest for new development and value, along with where the best places are to start a new business.
“You pick up extremely valuable market knowledge. You also get to network and work with people in the business and get their impression and ideas,” said Bill Mankin of VIP Commercial.
